I have just checked out my Trees on Mundia.com and it says : This tree is PRIVATE. Only you or people you invite can view this tree.

So I hope this is correct. All other people's trees that I looked at on there are also available on Ancestry as public trees.

The easy way to get to this new site is to scroll down to the bottom of the main page on Ancestry and right at the bottom rt hand side are up and down arrows (quite small) click on them an it brings up a list of their other sites including Mundia

What is Mundia?

Mundia.com is a new site within the Ancestry.com network of sites focused on building family trees and connecting people with living relatives. This site does not offer access to historical records available on the Ancestry.com site network.

The same family trees and profiles found here on Mundia are also available through the Ancestry.com network of sites. You can access the same information through your existing Ancestry.com account without the need to join Mundia.

* Please note: The Mundia Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are different than those on the Ancestry.com network of sites.

Just to let you know about www.mundia.com
Ancestry have put all your trees for others to view even though your tree might be private.

There is a thread on records about it

I haven't had problems attaching to the right person, but the "return to" message now has completely random names! I think this is quite funny and a bit mad but I do have a strange sense of humour ...

Can anyone advise please..When I bring up a relative, say Mr Smith, on my tree and click on `search historical records`..it then goes to the list of all records.I then click on the relevant record and it should say attach to Mr Smith.Instead it says `attach to someone in your tree`and the link that should take me back to Mr Smith in my tree has a totally different name?..but if I click on it,it does take me back to my tree and Mr Smith..has anyone else had this or does someone know what I should do please...thank you..
