this is FreeBMD invaluable as compiled by volunteers and is free

Having done transcribing I would always advise you to check the image before ordering a certificate as mistakes can be made

Stephanie on FreeBMD on the marriage details eg:

Marriages Dec 1868 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bradley Charles New Forest 2b 1076
if you then click on the page number 1076 it will bring up all the other people on the same page. i.e,. 2 marriages.

Marriages Dec 1868 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bradley Charles New Forest 2b 1076
CARRICK William N.Forest 2b 1076
Thomas Jane N Forest 2b 1076
WILLS Kezia N. Forest 2b 1076
if you know the women's first name from a census return then you can have a pretty good guess to who married who. The capital letters don't mean that they married each other it is FreeBMD way of saying thta this entry has been double checked.

the same applies to Ancestry marriages
