Can anyone kindly me tell me if there is anything available online to research with regards to divorce records please.

I think there are only some of the earlier divorces which are on the National Archives site.

Records for divorces on National Archives are up to 1937 only.

Ok thank you. So if I only have a suspicion about a divorce after that period, where would I head for, if not online.

You would need to get in touch with this place:-

Principal Registry of the Family Division
First Avenue House
42-49 High Holborn
LONDON
WC1V 6NP

Telephone 020 7947 6939
020 7947 6983 (answerphone)

They will undertake a 10 year search but it is quite expensive (I think somewhere between £30 - £50)

You would need the couple's full names and marriage date.
