What site am I looking for ? Please help

Hi, Please could you tell me what site I am looking for..( its been deleted off my computer by mistake)
I used to be able to browse page after page of births burials etc..original pages..you could type in the area etc..
It was fasinating..I had found some of my family on there !!
Sorry to ramble Any Ideas what I am on about ?

Could it have been familysearch.pilotsearch which has pr´s for Northumberland & Durham?.
They are not indexed, but go back into the 1700s.

Hi, I have just tried that one....Oh its so frustrating....
I used to type in Durham, and then the area
then you had to go from page to page..
Very old pages from books, documented burials and births etc,

Christine - if you've lost your Durham bookmarks, here's the gateway to the local BMD indices:

For those who've gotten confused, the records Christine is looking for is the Durham Bishop's Transcripts (I think). So go to:

http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start

and click on the "Search or Browse our record collection" link. You can then go to various continents, and see the available records from there, which include the unindexed DUR BTs.
