your fathers birth should be on the site ''Scotlands people''

you know best when he was born, so purchasing a few credits should find it fairly easily I'd have though

Please, I'm looking to get my British citizenship by descent but need a birth cert for my father, Hugh Macdonald of Stornoway (born on Kenneth st). I'd also like to get information for my family tree.

I have no census information or certs for any of these people. I was in Scotland some 30 years ago, and met many relatives. All my information came from them, along with some wonderful family stories.

If you have information on my grandfather, John Macdonald, 1876-1945, born in Ross and Cromarty county. Catherine Isabella MacKenzie, 1880-1951 born Isle of Lewis. They produced 7 children-Christina, Annie, Janet, Catherine, William, Hugh, Duncan

John Macdonalds sister, Annie Macdonald married Catherine Isabella MacKenzies brother William MacKenzie (no dates)

Granda's parents were Hugh MacDonald of Beauly and Ann Matheson of Dingwall (no dates).

Granma's parents were William MacKenzie and Cristina Macdonald(no dates). Her grandparents were:
paternal-Alex MacKenzie (Bayhead then Stornoway) & Jessie Morrison(no dates)
maternal-Alex MacDonald (Steinish) & Barbara MacKenzie
(Oronsay-i think).
Granma's great grandparents were:
maternal-William MacKenzie & Catherine Campbell.
Any help would be appreciated, and I understand I follow-up for answers on my thread.
