I wonder if anyone could give me a hand looking for GEORGE COALEY.
i have him born c 1869 Kent.
this is his marriage

On the 1891 census he is living in the home of henry dawson and family in sutton st helens lancashire

I cant find him anywhere before 1891 so any help would be much appreciated.

the witnesses at his marriage - joseph coaley and mary ann caoley are also lodgers with him on the 1891 census but dont know what connection they are to george.

Must admit I am struggling with this one The Sevenoaks clue hasn't helped one bit! I assume he is related to the Coaley's in 1891 but of course no relationship given as they are boarders.
If his father is a coalminer you would expect them to be living in the North I think - not sure about Kent coalmining!
There is another variation with his "relatives" 1901 - Cooley!
