Inspector Green Pen, you were the winner!!

For some reason, my computer did not boot up correctly the day before. It did put the fright into me .... then noticed the clock was wrong, so fixed that. Then I sent a few e-mails and couldn't find them in my "sent" e-mail. Turns out, I'd set the clock and the date, but didn't check the year. Stupid me! The computer had decided it was 2002!!!!!! So the "sent" ones were there, just in the wrong year!

Many thanks for your assistance, it is appreciated, and sorry to be so late in getting back to you.

Diane

First thing to do is to check that the date and time is set correctly on your computer. In particular check the year.

Diane

I've just got into ancestry ........ it's the first time today that I have tried to do it.

I have Mozilla Firefox ................. but it has been set up so that I go to Google first, and then click on Bookmarks to get into ancestry ........ I have no idea why it works that way!

But I did get into ancestry right away, just as usual.

Has anyone tried to access Ancestry today?? Says their Security Certifcate has expired and they do not recommend you go to their site.... on two different search engines.
