Have you searched on this site to see if anyone else is looking for the family, there are Guernsey Records on the IGI on familysearch.org - some census records are on FindmyPast

You should visit http://www.priaulxlibrary.co.uk/ which is Guernsey's Local Studies and Family History Centre. The staff are incredibly helpful and they hold a wealth of information. They hold the islands birth records etc.
