Sarabby Report 3 Oct 2010 22:08

My grandfather served in the Royal Welsh Fusieliers between during WW1, and was injured , losing a leg at some point during his service.
Does anyone know where we can find out where he recived his injuries.? Only 3 of his 11 children are now alive (all now in their 80's ) and they don't know the answer, my one uncle is very keen to find this out.

Any tips would be very useful

Do you mean he served in WW1 and not after? Not sure what you mean by "between" His records may be on Ancestry. What was his name?

I can't imagine they'd look through all of the diaries - they'd need to know his battalion. I doubt whether he'd be mentioned by name in the diary anyway.
