It's a pity you hadn't asked for advice before spending money on GR's platinum membership....................you could have saved yourself some money

You can only find the reference numbers for BMDs

then you can order them from GRO.gov.uk online, £9 .25 each.

you cant view Birth certs. you have to buy Birth Marriages & Death certs for the info they contain.
You will get the GRO ref which you need to order from
www.gro.gov.uk certs cost £9.25 with the GRO ref.

could someone please help me as i am a liitle confused as to how to use the site we have just upgraded to platinum and wish to view birth certificates to carry on with our family search but i do not know how to do this would be grateful for any help many thanks ian
