Can anyone tell me if and how I can locate the place of burial of my great grandfather?

Hi Von
His name was Albrt Edward Barringer and he was living in Kent when he died. His death was regstered in Thanet in 1949

it depends on where they were buried but there is a web site" Deceased on Line" which is rapidly growing, it is necessary to buy credits to look at the entry but you can search for free.

Incidentally I never understand why people complain about having to buy credits to view a record, unless entries are completed by volunteers these companies are providing a service which means they have had to pay to complete the records - who would expect to read a book without paying for it.
