Hi Jenny,

Thanks for your reply. I have sent them an e-mail advising them how unhappy I am that they have done it as I hadn't been advised that they would be taking the money earlier. My Ancestry membership fell a few days earlier but luckily there were enough funds in my account for FMP.

I shall be checking at renewal next year and advising them accordingly before the due date not to take it earlier than the advised date.

Guess what Chrissie.

Just received an email from FMP telling me that my sub has been renewed on 10 Oct. for the 1911 census. Mine wasn't due until 12th Oct.

Oh well, it's their loss. I had decided to take the full subscription out with them, as my Ancestry is up on 15th Oct.

I was sent an email saying they were sorry I hadn't renewed my subs which were due on the 8th. They should have renewed automatically and I can still search their records and view what I could before.

Hi Chris, it's probably because the 11th is a Sunday. Wouldn't have hurt them to wait until the 12th though would it?

Edit Oh dear silly me, it's only the 9th today, thought it was 10th. Sorry, scrub my thoughts.

Has anyone else found that their subscription to FMP has been taken from their bank account earlier than the date it is due. On 'My Account' details it gives next payment date as 11th October yet they have taken the money today.
