Yesterday you helped me identify Simeon Lord's family. He disappears from the census between 1881 and 1898. Presumably he dies but I cannot find any record of his death. Are deaths always notified in that era?

They should be, yes. Might be better to add this query to your previous thread as there will be useful info on there which will help people look for this record, or for other traces of him...
