Hello.
I am fairly new to all this family tree thing! I had started to do my own family and my sister in law got so interested about her own family I thought I would do some investigating for her as a surprise. I have found that she seems to have some German descendents, a WILLIAM and BENERDINA WIEHE. The surname is causing a few problems cos there is so many different versions in the transcrptions such as WEIHE, WICHE and WIECE.
I have found that WIlliam and Benerdina had a daughter born in Poplar, London in 1872 and just wondered if there is any way to trace when they may have came over from Germany??

I've had a look round on the above Records on Ancestry, but can't see anything obvious! :-), also another one could be National Archives, they have Naturalization Papers, which might turn up something, might be worth going to their website and trying the different surnames in their Searchbox, on the link below.
