I would be pretty sure that Clifford Mitchell next door would be the father of Clifford Mitchell Salked
I understand that you could never be 100% but I would be 99.9 on that one

Hi Quoy yes as say in the census the family did live next door and I have also wondered if there was a connection but on cliffords b/cert there is no father named pity as this leaves a bit of a mystery in my tree

Hi Linda
I have never come across the name before,so I had to have a search.
You might find that Mitchell is a clue, looking at the next door neighbours in the 1901

Hi Quoy thankyou for the information is there a reason you were intrigued by the name or was it just because it not a common name.
Regards
