Could you be confusing the on-line ordering with obtaining wills from the National Archives? They are pre-1858 and can be downloaded straight away for £3.50.

SG I think you are right. It is a form to print off and send by post. I was getting a bit worked up cos I thought I had done it online previously (I did for Cheshire Wills, but they were wills proved in Cheshire) and mindful of my family having a history of Alzheimers Disease I somehow thought this was the first sign!

I am going potty. I have ordered several wills and suddenly I don't know how to do it.

I have found the will on the the National Probate Calendar, proved 1937. How do I order a copy? I know a month or so ago I ordered one from a local office, but I've even forgotten how to do that.

Can someone remind me please?
