If you're on yearly membership as some of us are then youll lose that status and pay 2 half yearly @£9-95-6months

Do you just have basic membership or do you have Gold or Platinum?

I find that basic membership is all that I need on here and it doesn't cost that much but I think worth it to be able to post on the threads. I woudn't bother with the higher cost packages.

Why not take a break.You can always renew,in the future.
Build up your contact list before your paid membership runs out.
You will not be able to see other trees.

Hi Valerie,

Your tree will stay on Gr and if another member contacts you then you are able to reply to their message.

You can make changes to your tree but you can't initiate contact with members or submit replies on the boards.

Hi, I have been thinking about ending my Genes membership as I am not using it enough, having researched most of my tree. Does anyone know what happens to my tree if I stop paying membership, I am presuming it remains on here but I won't be able to edit it & contact other Genes members?
