I have an old photo which needs a bit of restoring and vaguely remember some advice given a while back about this. At the time I didn't have this photo so didn't bookmark the replies. Any suggestions, please?

I think that the FamilyTreeForum website has a section where people help with the restoration of old photos.

I think Rootschat also have the same help.

If you type in restoreing old photographs and search the net. there are loads of sites some offering to do it for you (at a price)
Some telling you how to do it yourself. like www.colinrobinson.com/restore
but you do need the software to do it.
It really depends how good or bad your photo is some photographic shops will do it, but always keep a scanned copy before sending off your original.
