Hi can anyone help with Irish bmd .I'm looking for the birth of Sylvester Barnes born in Cork between 1840/1848 ( he varied the date on census's ) His father was Michael his mother unknown ,

There are no Irish bmd for the dates you are looking for, when you mention census, which census are you talking about?

sorry I should have said my family came from Ireland in the late 1890's to lancashire and yorkshire .So of course I'm talking about the england census.
