Hi Piglets Pal

Thankyou for your replies. It is probably me in regards to Rootsweb/chat.
I should perhaps practice more on there as I seem to be closing an avenue of searching.
Over time I will give it another try.

Hello Piglets Pal

Thankyou for your reply.
Rootschat is a good site, although I find I get in a muddle with it sometimes.
The Romany Genes Webeden site is free and £10.00 for a years membership for the RFHS is not much at all. Just offers a different avenue to search.

The RGWebeden site I have found to be the best that I have seen for Romany people_and the fullest descriptive on thier lives past and present.
A vast amount of history and stories and there are also Romany specific BMD records and census for various areas. Much more on culture and beautiful photos.

I love Genes and wouldn`t give it up for anything but other sites do offer other alternatives. Helps to broaden ones searching-wouldn`t you agree.?
We all have our own opinions and preferences . And sharing the smallest of detail as you and I have can help others.
