This Harriet Wilson snr might not be my ancestor if she was not been married before. Maybe I should buy her marriage certificate to see if she was married before or not. Cheers, Steven.

	Well there's a possible culprit then as the second image has no pencil and no additions, so it had been re- written later,.

	Steve The answer is that Thomas married twice both named Harriet, 1st wife Harriet Norris 2nd wife Harriet Wilson and Harriet brought her illgitimate daughter Harriet Wilson into the family with her

	Lindsey some vicars insisted the mum named the father and he seems to have recorded the names given even though the dad wasnt present i would think

	where does Norris fit in ? Thomas married Harriet Wilson Or was Harriet Norris his first wife
