Thinking of buying Mac version of Family Tree Maker which is due out soon. It's based on FTM 2010 (not the new 2011 version),

I have an old version of FTM (2005) and I was wondering what the differences are to FTM 2010 (I know the Mac version will probably be different again) Does FTM 2010 have genealogy reports?

What's your opinion of FTM 2010?

Many thanks.

FTM 2010 is a completely different program to FTM 2005 as it was a re-write, not an upgrade.

It has much more of a 'windows' feel to it and is rather more point and click than the earlier version. Most of the original features are there but some work in slightly different ways. Takes a few hours playing around to get used to it, but after that there is no going back.

If you look at the tread titled "FTM 2010 platinum offer" which I have bumped up for you, I have listed all the reports that are available.
