Perhaps Lily is actually Elizabeth Mary.

I didn't know about the Pimlico return being missing.

To confirm what Maureen has put, from :

http://www.westminster.gov.uk/services/libraries/archives/family-history/census/

'the 1861 Census for the Pimlico and Belgravia areas of Westminster have not survived.'

The probate for Henry is also on Ancestry. It lists his addres as formerly of 71 Stanley St Pimlico but late of 59 Strand and 83 Cambridge Street Eccleston Square.

You may be out of luck as some/all?? of Pimlico is missing in 1861.

I've found the probate for the wife and probate was issued to Elizabeth Mary Caines, the daughter

Henry died 1864 St.Geo Han Sq

On the 1881 the wife is a widow and is living with a daughter Lily, single, 26, born Belgravia

I've been sitting here for ages trying to find a family on the 1861 without success and wondered whether anybody can have a go at finding them

Henry Robert Caines born 1832 Langport. Somerset and wife Elizabeth Rebecca Caines born 1818 Dover.

They married 1854 Medway and on the 1871 are in Curry Rivel. Somerset
