just to add to Norma's finding, the original says 6 children born to marriage, 3 still alive in 1911, 3 had died

re Sarah Holbrook, have you got anything at all on her?

Problem with the info on Sarah is that if she was born early 1890's she is probably married by 1911

How have you arrived at the possible wide date range and approx location of Leicestershire?

Thanks for your help Glitter baby. She married a Thomas Litherland. So it may have been Sarah Litherland I guess. Depends when she married? The above entry from Derby may be her though? Its local and about the right year. She may have been born in Leicester?

It is frustrating as she is quite recent however for whatever reason I have never managed to find out much about her. I have no idea who her parents are or anything.

There are 2 in 1901 census. One is a Sarah Holbrook b. 1895 in Lancs. Only other one is b. Surrey? I wonder why the Sarah Holbrook above isn't in 1901 census??? Trace her in 1911 census and with her birth year I should be able to track where she was born and then her parents, siblings etc hopefully! :)
