Member Since: March 2004 Posts: 115 Send Message	What's the difference between FTM 2011 Deluxe and FTM 2011 Platinum Hi everyone After Christmas I am going to buy the Family Tree Maker 2011. I notice they do a Deluxe version and a Platinum version and I was wondering what the difference is. Many thanks for any help. Sylvia

Member Since: March 2006 Posts: 5,276 Send Message	The Deluxe comes with 3 months subscription to Ancestry and Platinum has 6 months. At the moment it appears that the Platinum is cheaper than Deluxe on Amazon so much better value. Christine

Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 7,819 Send Message	The FTM software program is exactly the same, which ever version you buy. If you are not interested in an Ancestry subscription, just buy the upgrade version.
