Hi, I am trying to locate parish records for the above village.
I have found that they are held in Reading at the Berkshire archives.

I have tried but cannot find out if they are available as a transcription on CD anywhere.

Is anyone aware if they are available please?

Many thanks.

Berkshire has a local Family Hitory Society - google for it - they will very likely have records either in CD or book form which you can purchase

if you are to give us some names we will do our best to help you

Ufton Nervet is a very tiny place and has very few houses ..but it may have been larger and is being swollowed up by the areas around it

Many thanks Ann I have tried the Berkshire FHS and they dont show anything for the village. I will have to make the effort to get down there next year and go to the record office.

Many thanks to KempinaThermalhat,

Hi Elizabeth,

I am looking for Ballard family.
I believe they were in the vilage from my great garndfather born in 1832 and go back through generations.
There were a few marriages in Sulhamstead which is also near by.
