Neal,
I posted that 1911 census on your other thread.
That was one of the reasons we queried your information as he was a market gardener in that census in 1911, but you had him as a foundry worker (?) on his son's birth certificate.

I am looking it up on the Find My Past site which I have a subscription for. I can't see the young Edward at all but given the reference to the children maybe it is them.

I am trying to avoid burning a meal at the moment but if you send me a pm(private message) with your email address will send you the image although it may tomorrow now. You click on my unlined name K to send a pm

If I find anymore tonight will post it but may have to wait until tommorrow now

Will recheck but ;looked at the image of the 1911 couple I posted and whilst not living with children they had had 3 children of which 2 were still living

Hi yes all I know my great grandmother alice allen formerly king was 31 when she died in 1911 married to edward allen, I know of my grandfather edward leslie allen born in 1905 grantham and he did have a sister but I do not know her name as he always referred to her as cissy, not sure if this was her actual name or a pet nickname.

thanks for the reply, will go and have a look, only joined yesterday so not too hot on the site as yet. I am unaware of this address as I know when my great grandmother died the address was 3 allinson terrace, walker st, hull.
