OK I solved my own problem by seraching for Gertrude Heaton , Burnley livinng with Polly on the 1911census.co.uk site Julie suggested.

My Guess was right the one I'm looking fro is the daughter of Charles.

Julie how did you manage to pull up the whole household for free on the 1911 site???? I couldnt see how to do that

There seems to have been at least 2 and maybe 3 Gertrude HEATON's born Burnley c 1883

Free BMD is showing just 1 marriage ie the 1906 marriage to my friend's grandfather James Wormwell.

Is someone with 1911 census able to check it to see if it shows the other Gertrude HEATON from Burnley c 1883 still living with her parents? That wasy we should be able to figure out which is the right one.

My guess would be that James married the daughter of Charles HEATON in which case Gertrude HEATON may be living with parents John and Polly in 1911?

They should be living in or near Burnley or Bury, Lancashire
They were married 1906 so are probably in their late 20s.

If I could find out their ages, place or birth and any kids that would be great

Gertrude's maiden name was HEATON probably also born in the Burnley area

If someone could check on the 1891/1901 censuses it would be great to get her family members
