Searching website for old records

I have used in the past a site I (as in International) something to find really old births, marriages and deaths in UK.

After problems with my computer I have lost a lot of my old sites I used and of course I hadn't written them down :(

Can anyone help me by telling me what the site is? Perhaps it was a Morman site? Due to several strokes I have a rotten memory sorry so I must note it somewhere when I find it.

Thanks everyone

You're thinking of the IGI (International Genealogical Index).

This is the old site: http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.asp

www.familysearch.org - this is their new site with no IGI, but lots of records including those parish records that were on the IGI.

Yes, it is a Church of the Latter Day Saints (CLDS) site.

save the sites to My Favourites on your computer

when you get to the home page, just click on Favourites, then click on Add to Favourites.

This is actually the "new" address for the old site that had the IGI on it

www.familysearch.org/eng/

and this is the address for the new version of the familysearch records, which does not have the IGI per se ....... they've taken records and put them onto one site. They say that they have only taken Extracted Records
