Gail it is a bit tedious but if you find him it will be worth it.

But don't forget that many records were burnt during the Blitz in WW2

They usually have the birth parish on the records, and also if you look through the images the next of kin

i tried the ww1 service records but his name is a common one william moore and there were a few in manchester and without the address i couldnt decide which one was him

can anyone tell me how to find my grandparents address they married in 1915 and the address on the marriage cert for both of them was my grandmothers family home how do you find where they lived after they married when the census only goes to 1911
