I received the marriage certificate of my boyfrieds great grandparents today..they married in 1939 in a register office in Edmonton.

The husband was William Robert Capon, 29 years old, a bachelor, and a general labourer. His father was Robert George Capon who was deceased at the time of marriage and he was a general labourer aswell.

The wife was Daisy Elizabeth Kennedy, 18 and a spinster. her father was Thomas Kennedy who was alive whe she married and was a labourer.
The Witnesses were Lydia Kennedy and E.M Ward.

I can't find a birth for William Capon who would have been born c1909. I have no idea where he was born or whe he died. Daisy was born in Ireland inAugust 1919 and died in 1998 in London.

No one knows anything about William Capon and I don't know where else I can loom for him.

Any tips would be apriciated.

Because of the age difference it wasnt unusual to knock a couple of years of .

My grandmother was 2 years older than granddad but on her marriage cert she said she was the same age
