Me again,
Henry possibly my ggg father I have found on the 1841 census aged 50, so makes him born in approx 1791 but can't find any further back - help please. He was married to Harriot also aged 50 with 2 children aged 20 & 15 both living at home and he was a publican.

Also when going through the bdm indexes I occasionally must hit something which gives me a straightforward list but don't know I get there??? The list is so much easier to look through. Please tell me what to do?

You might get lucky with some wills.

(Looks as though both Henry's and Harriet's are there. Maybe try a few of the older ones to see if they connect...)
