The marriage cert should name his father and will give his age on marriage so you can work backwards.
Births for the time you have qoted give mmn so this should be one cross check.
I,m afraid its unlikely anyone can just give you the answer ,you will have to cross check.
Have you looked on search trees to see if they are in anyones tree

the marriage of John F. Jackson to Margaret Grace DQ 1943 is he my uncle son of John Francis Jackson & Elsie may Jackson nee Ibbs also only children to mother nee Grace are Trevor R Essex MQ 1944 Ronald J 1949 Essex SQ West Ham. and Josephine E 1954 SQ Essex South West are they the same family? where do I find out please
