Hi,
i have been given access to a tree from a family member but when i go to the tree there is just one white box that says -
hidden hidden

Why is this happening?

"Hidden" usually means "living", and if there is no recorded date of death the person's details are not revealed until - I think - 120 years from the birth date.

If the tree to which you have been given access goes back a few generations you can click on each "living" box to get their parents and so on back until you find names.

I am guessing that they only have themself in tree.

There is only one box. You cannot click on it to find other relatives as there are none showing. I have in the past had access to this tree so it is there. It is very strange.

I suggest you ask your contact.
they may have deleted their tree.

It will tell you at the top of the screen how many names there are in it.
