lost family in south Africa

I am looking for my lost family in south africa my father was born in the 1933 approx his lost job was head office of the south african railways in joe berg. He has 2 sisters and a brother. My mothers name was Yvonne Stellenboom.

Are we to assume that your parents are still alive? It isn't quite clear if your father was born c1933, or his last his job was in 1933.

For historical records, you could try this website as a portal

There are a number of results, some I suspect you have to pay to join.

If his last job with the South African railways was relatively recent, I wonder if the Head Office has an address for him which they would be willing ot pass on? I think they are now part of Spoornet or PRASA. (not very good with company mergers!)

If you wanted to search for a living person in SA, put

In the internet search box. There a couple of sites which may be useful.

If it is possible that he came to England, some of us have access to incoming passenger list up to 1960, and obviously England and Wales deaths up to 2005.

If you put Yvonne's name into the Search Tree box above, you will see that a couple of other people have her in their tree. It may be worthwhile contacting the tree owners for further details. Regards. Cx.
