Add your details to the adoption contact register, and hope that he is looking for birth relatives.

If he is, he will be given the option of making contact with you.

The ball is entirely in his court,,and you have no legal right to any info about him

You cant ,m afraid. Only the adoptee can access their records. What you could do is to add his and your name to the databases so that if he wants to search he can see he is being looked for.

Does anyone know how i can find out the adopted name of my half brother who was born in 1960 in Stepney, London. His name at birth was Michael J Day.
