If you check it out, GR are not necessarily the most expensive.

As my old boss used to say, you pays your money and takes your choice.

That's the problem with using GR for searching records............

They persuade new, unaware, people to take out their highly-priced subs, using misleading jargon to convince them that it's a good idea..............and the members then find out how limited their search options are

GR does not have the facility to move between pages. If you contact GR with the details they should provide you with a link to the page you require.

I suspect Kevin is using the Genes site for census records. Not the best option.

Which site are you using to look at the census? On Ancestry you are able to click on the arrows at the top right side of the census page to look at the previous or next pages.

Hi,

I've hit a wall and I hope someone can help.

I think I've found one of my relatives, but he is the first entry on a census sheet and I can't figure out how to look up the previous sheet, unfortunately Jackson was a pretty popular name in Radford in 1861

If anyone can help either with advice or possibly the name of another person at the same address that'd be really appreciated. (4 Alferton Road, Radford, Nottingham.)

Thanks in advance,
Kevin
