Perhaps someone can tell me

Is there somewhere on this site where you could post the locality in which you live and say you were prepared to go and have a mooch about a local churchyard' one Sunday to see if you could find a grave for someone out of area who was looking for it ?

Not suggesting I would spend hours hunting through a huge cemetery with no map but a local churchyard might be a possibility.

Just wondered if it might be a good idea when the weather improves

Also done this for members

Until I got caught out by a member who I did lots of work for only to find out she actually visited her uncle who only lives 100yards away from me

There is this site too if you are prepared to take photos

Not used it myself but I was considering volunteering. Has anyone else?

The Records Office board is intended for offers like this. The problem is that threads drop down very quickly so need nudging up regularly.
