Thanks for your help. George & Matilda went to USA in 1884 then to Australia 1886 and back to UK in 1893 before going to NZ 1901. Have quite a bit of information after they married but just couldn't find a birth for her or in 71 or 81 census

could this be Matilda and George in 1891?? This Matilda is a little young ..... she'd have been about 17 when they married

I have a marriage certificate for Matilda Comber to George Whittle 1st Jan 1884 in Standish Lancaster giving her age as 21 and her father's name as George Comber. The only birth I can find is Matilda Ann Comber 1869 in Marylebone ( I realise she could have lied about her age) but I can't find any records for her after that until the marriage.
