Help!.... anyone from Tonbridge who has an elderly G/Parent who may have a good memory may be able to name a Hospital or a place for unmarried women of the Post War years.

I have a Birth Cert giving a Place name for......When & Where Born

Says......Northfields Langton Speldhurst R D [1945]

Sub-District of Tunbridge Wells ..Reg Dist Tonbridge

I have just googled it. Looks like three separate areas of Tunbridge Wells.

I immediately thought of Pembury Hospital?

It seems to cover the areas in your post and became a hospital from the original workhouse in 1938.
