Birth certificate has mother down with 3 names.

I am hoping someone can help sort out a birth certificate for me.

It reads Hezekiah boy, father Daniel Watkins then it has mother Mary Watkins, late Evans formerly Williams, any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Yes,

Mother has been married before. Evans is her previous married name, Williams is her maiden name.

Column 5 of a birth certificate shows the name, and previous names if any, of the mother of the baby. There are several combinations of name possible. If a woman has never been married there will be a sole entry for her name e.g. Martha Robinson. If a woman has married once there will be two names shown for her e.g. Martha Robinson formerly Wheeler. If a woman has been married more than once the names shown will be e.g. Martha Robinson late Wheeler formerly Gregory. Also if a woman has ever been married, all previous names should be shown whether the baby being registered was legitimate or not.

Yes that is correct and you should also find a marriage for Daniel Watkins and Mary Evans and one for a Mr something Evans and Mary Williams

Thank you very much for your reply and information, i have also just found a marriage for a Mary Evans so will be able to send for that certificate now. Many many thanks:)
