Can anyone help trying to trace my Grandfather
Isaac Joseph Round married Elizabeth Smith 1896 at Dudley.
have record 1881 census he was living with Lott and Eliza Beighton (nee Round)
nothing in 1891 census. 1901 census Talbot Street, Oldbury, Worcs.
Born Wolverhampton 1865 no birth record. Only record is for Adam & Diana Round but their son Joseph was still at home in 1891 and working . So it must be wrong person as my Joseph was a boatman at the time, and still thought that he was named Beighton. How could I find his birth record?
Maybe he has turned up in another tree but I cannot find him.

Hi.

This is really strange but i am also trying to trace the Round Family from Dudley...lye......or Cradley Heath. I also have a Joseph Round who married (i think) Lily Williams. at st andrews dudley in 1900. Do you think they are the same family. I havent managed to get very far with the Rounds so far. So any help would be appreciated.

Ann of Greengables have researched Isaac Joseph christened 22/12/1863
and he died in 1864. The only one in 1865 was still living at home in 1881 with his parents. so have to discount him. trying to link Eliza Rounds to my Isaac Joseph she may have had a brother Isaac Joseph.

Had contact with Beighton line but they could not help me, so I must keep searching until something turns up.

I thank you all for your help, I found the connection to Eliza Beighton that I so desperately needed. Typically Beighton was spelt Beaton the surname was Rounds and Isaac Joseph was Joseph, never mind got there in the end. So thanks Ann of Green Gables in particular for your efforts.
