Just a quick question about marriage

I was wishing you did have to show a birh cert in 1925 just to find a birth cert (or two) LOL

I think you have to now but not in 1925. Even when I got married in 1969 you did not have to produce your birth certificate - which was just as well as I only bought my own certificate last year.

As I have never been married My question is when you do get married do you have to produce your birth cert to prove your age expecially in the year 1925 which is my main intrest
