Can you get on the national archives site Ok........search people, then click army after 1913 (not officers) then a little down the page you will see search medal roll.........click search and enter the name and the result will come up.............I will just pop and see what to do next.

I am going to show my computer ignorance now.
How should I go about downloading it. The how to do it is more of a problem than its cost, and if it is the wrong one , at least I will have learnt something
Thanks

There are some on Ancestry.com, a lot of the records were destroyed during a bombing raid in WW2. If you do not subscribe to Ancestry someone on this site will take a look for you if you post the name, birthplace and year of birth if known.

Is there any way to find Army records of men who served during the first World War?
I would be very thankful if someoe could point me in the right direction, as it is I am just going round in circles.
