Hi, can anyone tell me if there is a way of finding whereabouts in Ireland an ancestor comes from ?
I have Patrick Fox ,his wife Eliza and son James on 1851 census in Pendleton Lancashire. I have their marriage cert from 1848 in Manchester giving me his fathers name, James. It just says Ireland on census and later ones show him as Stockport! Im stuck now and wonder if there is another avenue I can try.
Thank you, marie.
