Hi MaureeninNY

I noticed that a few of them have the same proffession on the page, but it all looks like a scrawl to me, but at least i now know what an F S is!!
Thank you very much for taking the time to look for me,

It's hard to tell. Just a guess-Mary Ann Grismond??? F S is female servant. Can't read his occupation unless it's a badly scrawled IND (independent).

Good one, Maureen! Yes I believe it's Quick on the original. But now, what's his occupation, smartypants? The name underneath looks like Mary Ann Grismond? She's FS, female servant.

There isn't a William Quick at all in Gloucestershire on the 1841 census anywhere near the birth year you give.

Hi MadBull

Thank you for your reply, I think there was about 12 William Quick's when i looked that was over a 10 year period, the one i just couldnt read was William Quick born 1781, i have to go and have another look now lol. but thanks for looking for me,

Lynn

edit:- yes there are 6 William Quick born 1781 he is living in Westbury on trym and i can see also a mary Ann ? the proffessions are unreadable to me and its only initials for her.

I am hoping someone would be kind enough to read the 1841 census for me, try as i might i just cant make out the proffessions or the name of one of the people in the household. It is for William Quick born 1781 Gloucestershire, location Clifton Westbury and Henbury, and there is another name underneath William, any help with this would be very much appreciated.
