Can anybody tell me how to research aftercensuses finish i keep drawing blanks i am trying to find divorce records sandra

Not sure about divorces, but I would try national archives:

Re. 1911 onwards, you are restricted to info from certs and the electoral registers. The latter are searchable by address only (apart from the Midlands area which has some online records). Remember these will only show adults eligible to vote - from 1919 all men over 21 & women over 30, then women over 21 from 1919.
