Wow thanks Chris, that's brilliant.

The Vision of Britain one is perfect, it has a map from the war office showing RAF Kenley (which is pretty central to my dissertation) and on the historical statistics it gives you social class and wealth and poverty too.

Thank you so much. :)

The Vision of Britian looks really good.

Croydon is split down into administrative areas.

Make sure you click on the ticks and click on the tabs....Loads of info!

Hi everyone,

I know this is a bit of an odd request, but i'm writing my dissertation on Croydon during the second world war and i'm having a slight problem.

I'm trying to find a map of Croydon/ Croydon's wards and their relative wealth. I thought a good place to start might have been Booth's poverty map of London but it doesn't stretch as far as Croydon. so i wondered if anyone knew of somewhere online i could find a map of croydon and how wealthy each ward is/was in the 1930s and 40s.

The local studies library there has lots of new and historic maps, but they're generally O.S maps and not really what i need.

As i said it's a bit of an odd request but i thought if anyone was likely to know, it would be someone on here. Thank you for reading,

Lee.
