Rachel....Further delving into the Glenny/Glinny of Rathosey shows Henry and James "Glinny" living Rathosey 1839..A survey of the land was done by a James Minan...The O'Hara's were the land Owners....

This is from a Lease ...

(3) Lease for ‘his own life’ of a house and ‘plott’ at Coolany from Charles O’Hara (the elder) to Henry Glenny, weaver, 12 November 1764.

Rachel....All your threads are still on here....just click on the "My thread participation" on the left of the screen....or you can go into Advanced search and put in Glenny....
What you could do is briefly add all the info. (confirmed) for this family to this thread and delete the others...It would save "new contributors" from repeating info.you already have....

How do you keep track of such old threads? I struggle with the amount of info I get on a weekly basis. Maybe you can give me some hints?!?

I just keep hitting the same brick wall regarding this line & hope that by asking I can get some new info by new contributors.

Rachel....The Glenny you are ref.to is Henry Glenny he was the person responsible for paying the Tithe due on the land...(Major O'Hara was the commissioning agent)...there may have been other Glenny family sub letting from him...the only ones for the same area Rathosey appear to be James and Anne (GVal.) but you have all this info on your thread 2009.
