I am tracing my family tree on my Great Grandfathers side. I have found out that he had a sister, but she has sadly passed away in 1976 and it gives an informant's name, as her niece. How can I find out where this niece is now. Where can I look for the information.
The only thing I know, is that the informant lived in bournemouth.

Please help, any suggestions.

Regards
D Power

First thing I would do is check if anyone has this person in their tree - use Search Trees box above.
Is the surname the same as the person who died, and is there an address for her?

If you have the address of the informant, you could try a street search on friends reunited. Although the person you are not looking for may not be listed, a neighbour may be, and perhaps could give you some information.
Good luck,
Liz

A rare name may be found through a BT online search. May require a few phone-calls.
